8 mm steel takes slightly longer to heat up compared to 6 mm, but accumulates more heat, so it is ideal for baking more than 2 pizzas at a time, whereas if you plan to bake 2 pizzas and occasionally more, 6 mm steel will be sufficient. Our steel is the only one that guarantees safety in contact with food, this is confirmed by laboratory tests conducted by the State Sanitary Inspection. The steel heats up to 350°C in about 30 min in a home oven. Baking pizzas is only one of the many possible uses of a steel. You can easily bake all kinds of bread on it, but also meats. Such a steel can also be used as a pan on a grill or bonfire. After receiving the steel, prepare it according to the seasoning instruction included in the package.
